“ Best prime rib in Pinetop, hands down. Good old fashioned prime rib. Killer meal. But don't get a cocktail from the bar, too expensive and light on the liquor. ”

“ Went for Christmas dinner with my family and my brother's family, making 6 adults and 4 kids. We were able to be seated in a back semi-private nook which made for a relaxing experience. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed given how busy they were but she was very upfront about the wait which helped us set our expectations. Food was absolutely excellent. The artichoke appetizer was excellent. Unfortunately they were out of ribs (it was only 6pm) so this seemed like a bit of poor planning on our end. They also completely ran out of bread which again was disappointing. I recognize it was a busy night and will certainly try them again. ”

On another note the couple across from us was on a first date and the gentleman talked about how great he was and all his wealthy friends while the lady sat on her phone getting updated on the inter webs.... Enjoy with the warm yummy bread. My favorites? Chicken fried steak (or chicken) with mashed potatoes. Or maybe the filet with a loaded baked potato. Or perhaps the amazing prime rib. Sometimes the poblano chicken... Be patient. You're on "mountain time" in Pinetop and things roll a little slower. That being said, sometimes you might get your food before you're done with your salad. Relax & enjoy. This place rocks!!! ”

“ Excellent service from Lila! She was so attentive and just a pleasant person to deal with. I had brisket tacos and it was delicious! It was super filling. I only had one and took the other to go. Cute place with a nice heated terrace seating (went there in January) ”

“ Charlie Clark's is a staple in this community! It definitely has a small town, dive bar type of feel to it. There is a restaurant and a separate bar area with a stage. The fresh baked bread and butter is a must ! It's hard not to eat the entire loaf before the food comes out! I ordered the steak medium rare with veggies and a side salad. My mom got the fish. Unfortunately my steak was way over cooked. The seasoning was great and I really loved the veggies and side salad. The fish was yummy but my mom said the description makes it seem like there will be a sauce on top. I liked it just fine. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more ! ”

“ We stopped in here to celebrate my birthday because the reviews were so good and it's always fun to visit a place that's been in business for such a long time that it's historic. We entered through the bar and I got a whiskey and coke while we waited for the dining room to open. It was good and strong just how I like it. I got a 6oz steak medium rare with a baked potato with butter and sour cream and an apple cobbler a la mode for my birthday dessert. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The baked potato was nothing special but it was cooked well. The dessert was really good though had just a touch too much nutmeg. Our server Misty was fantastic and the rest of floor staff was also great at keeping us taken care of and our table clear. The restaurant was also very clean and well lit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. ”
